Luxury B&B with superb facilities and heated indoor swimming pool, open all year, 5 miles south of Shrewsbury in a rural location with panoramic views. Six guests maximum. Sun-lounge and accessible, secluded gardens. Ideal location for visiting all the many Shropshire garden show pieces such as Dorothy Clive and Hodnet Hall, as well as being a short drive from many in Wales such as Powis Castle and the Dingle Nursery. David Austen Roses are close by and Percy Thrower's Garden centre and the world-famous Shrewsbury Flower Show are on our doorstep.

Central backdrop to the gardens of Lyth Hill House is a rock outcrop built into a natural bank and featuring a wide range of alpines. Water falls down the bank over the rocks into a stream with stepping stones and finally tumbles into a large pond with bridge feature. This area is surrounded by a huge range of interesting and unusual shrubs as well as including an azalea bank, a wide range of rhododendrons and a gravel bed including several different phormiums, grasses and other monocots. Paul, our gardener is always happy to chat with guests wanting to pick his brains on horticultural matters.
