A rose by any other name .....

A unique new rose will be launched in aid of the North West Air Ambulance at Tatton Park Flower Show - and flower lovers now have the opportunity to enjoy this flower while raising money for the charity.

Named 'You Are My Sunshine,' the rose has been cultivated by Fryer’s Roses and is the distinct colour of Katie, the bright yellow helicopter used by the life saving charity.

The You Are My Sunshine bushes will retail at £9.95, and are available by going onto www.northwestairambulance.co.uk or calling 0151 547 7830.  Profits from every sale will go towards keeping the emergency service operational.

The North West Air Ambulance Service has an operational cost of 1.8 million a year and the service is funded solely by the generosity of the public and businesses. The helicopter (Katie) can be called out up to ten times a day in summer and is fully operational for 365 days a year across 5,500 square miles, serving a residential population of seven million. She covers all major road incidents, sporting accidents and incidents in areas that have poor and restricted road access.
