Design -  I design all types of garden, from modern to traditional, from swathes of perennials to intricate knot gardens, from intimate courtyards to rolling hillsides - the style is chosen to suit the client and the surroundings.

Qualifications – NDD Theatre Design, RHS Cert. Hort., OCA Garden Design.

Area based -  West Midlands to Wales, also nationwide.

Most exciting garden designed -  A hillside of interconnecting gardens.

What inspires you about each garden that you design? -  Finding that element which brings together the client's wish-list with the spirit and atmosphere of the place.

Is there a plant that seems to be consistently used in your designs? – The right plant for the right place.

How do your clients cope with looking after their garden once you and your team have left? – Detailed plant information and appropriate management schemes as required.

What is the average time scale for a typical garden? Minimum 3 weeks to a completed design.

Advice to would be designers – Create exciting spaces, not collections of unrelated features.
