Inchbald – Online: Setting the benchmark for the future of design training
 

The Inchbald School of Design’s Online Diploma courses in Interior Design and Decoration and Garden Design set a new benchmark for serious, career-orientated academic training.

Now in its second year and created in house by the team at Inchbald, these online options demonstrate that web based learning is a viable option for those looking to acquire the necessary skills for a successful career in design.

Programmed over three years, or as a two year fast track option, the Online experience will complement the existing selection of courses in Architectural Interior Design, Garden Design and Interior Decoration for which the Inchbald School is renowned.

Students will learn from Inchbald’s inspirational tutors and the individual educational experience that has enabled Inchbald to forge links with the University of Wales at Post Graduate and Masters levels.

While flexible in terms of individual study, the students follow a structured programme of work, directed by dedicated Inchbald tutors.  This strategy allows students to remain motivated and on schedule.

Students have regular access to their online tutor and participate in open forum discussions and chat rooms for interaction and exchange of ideas.

The modular structure covers design, analysis, construction, presentation, detailing and job administration together with specific course subjects including decoration, hard landscaping and planting design.
