Chelsea Flower Show 2005 - Tickets on sale from Monday 22 November 2004
As the dark nights draw in, it's a heart warming feeling that we can look ahead to thoughts of the Chelsea Flower Show ! Tickets for this 'Haute Couture' of garden shows go on sale this Monday and the organiser of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) promises that not only will there be an extra day, but a greater choice of tickets, helping towards a comfortable show experience.
The RHS has also taken the decision to keep the total number of visitors to the show the same. Spreading attendance over five days instead of four will offer more breathing space all round. Investment in a number of improved facilities for show visitors is also planned.
Saturday opening has been added to the established Tuesday to Friday format, giving those previously unable to attend during the working week, the opportunity to enjoy a visit to Chelsea. The world famous show, held annually in the grounds of the Royal Hospital, takes place on 24 - 28 May 2005, (24 & 25 May reserved for RHS members). Tickets are available from 22 November and must be booked in advance on 0870 906 3781 or at www.rhs.org.uk/chelsea
