Hampton 2005 offers something for everyone
With the opening of the 16th Hampton Court Palace Flower Show just weeks away Reckless thought it was about time that we took a look at what's on offer.
Over 50 gardens will be exhibited from established designers to new talent and this year highlights include The Butterfly Lovers, a Chinese garden depicting the legend of China's version of Romeo and Juliet; the Crisis Garden, full of topiary and planting inspired by its future location at the homeless charity's Skylight centre in London; A Taste of Sussex, from Girl Force Gardens, an edible garden full of fruit and vegetables and Sussex traditions such as willow weaving and of course the Festival of Roses with its marquee hosting the biggest annual gathering of roses in the world.
There will be RHS Talks and Demonstrations and in the Floral Marquees there will be over 80 of the UK's top nurseries.
The show runs from 5th to 10th July. For booking information log onto www.rhs.org.uk/hamptoncourt
