Brett Landscaping to return to Chelsea Show

Brett Landscaping and Building Products is returning to sponsor a show garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2008. The garden – Real Life by Brett – has been designed by Geoff Whiten, Chelsea's longest-serving designer with more than 32 years’ experience and six gold medals to his name.

Zack Barrett, marketing services manager at Brett Landscaping and Building Products, said: “Exhibiting at Chelsea is huge fun and it also gives us the chance to demonstrate to visitors that we can provide the landscaping products and the services to help them create wonderful gardens of their own.”

The 2008 theme will be adaptability and sustainability and the garden is all about providing a flexible outdoor space that’s perfect for everyday living.

“Everyone’s aspirations change over the years so the Brett garden is designed to change with them and can be adapted to suit each stage of your life,” explains Geoff Whitten. “At the same time, we wanted to create something that everyone could easily aspire to, no matter what their experience of gardening or the size of their plot. The garden incorporates a flexible, adaptable building, formal outdoor seating areas, three water features, a compost bin and a series of square and rectangle plant beds. The paved areas will be an attractive mix of pavers, aggregates and ground cover planting.”

The garden uses a choice of ethically sourced materials and the design encourages composting and the harvesting of rainwater. Brett has also announced that they will be making a debut at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park in July, again linking up with Geoff Whiten.
