Surrey College Launches Second Garden Design Course
Cobham-based college, Garden Design School (GDS), reports a huge surge in demand this year for places on its one year, part time Diploma Course, which starts in September.
All 18 places on its Tuesday garden design course have already been reserved, almost three months earlier than usual. And several more people have applied for places.
“We are seeing record levels of interest this year, mostly from people who want to re-train to become professional garden designers, says GDS director and senior lecturer, Moira Farnham. “Thankfully, we have the capacity to accommodate them because we’ve decided to run a second Diploma Course this year. The new course is identical in every respect to the first; students just attend college on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays.”
Full details of the college’s intensive 34 week course can be found on its website www.gardendesignschool.com and, for the latest information concerning enrolment, call Cheryl Williams on 01380 728788.
